Due to retirement we have a requirement for a Buyer:
As part of the operations team the role is to purchase, schedule and progress the delivery of materials, parts and sub contract processing to support the production plan.
Ideally the candidate will have been involved with purchasing in the Aerospace industry and have knowledge of Aerospace material specifications and sources, also the supply chain for sub contract heat treatment and various plating and finishing processes.
It is important that the individual has good computer skills with significant experience with Excel spreadsheets and data input/output from MRP systems.
